What we collect

Calculator inputs: Values entered into our browser-based calculators—such as draw length, arrow weight, spine inputs, FOC measurements, or bow specifications—are used in your browser to calculate the result. We do not intentionally transmit those calculator inputs to our server as calculator data.

Accounts and forms: You do not need an account to use the site. We do not operate an on-site user account system. If you choose to email us, we receive the email address and message content you send through your email provider and ours.

Visit and device data: Third-party measurement tools loaded on the site may receive technical data about a visit, such as page URL, referrer, browser/device information, screen dimensions, network information, timestamps, and cookie or similar identifiers, depending on the service and browser context.

Analytics and measurement

We use Google Analytics to understand general traffic and page usage. Our current configuration denies ad storage, analytics storage, ad-user-data, and ad-personalization consent by default, disables Google Signals and ad-personalization signals, anonymizes IP where supported, and sets client_storage to none. This configuration is intended to minimize browser storage and advertising features; it does not mean that no network request or technical visit data is processed by Google.

We also load the Pinterest Tag for page-visit measurement and attribution. Pinterest documents that its tag can send automatic data such as the page URL, referrer, and screen dimensions, and can read or create Pinterest-related cookies depending on the browser and visit context.

Our calculator code does not need analytics or Pinterest measurement to produce a result. Browser privacy tools, content blockers, and browser settings may limit those third-party requests without preventing the core calculators from doing their local arithmetic.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use cookies to save calculator inputs or require a login. Google Analytics is currently configured with denied storage consent by default and client_storage: none.

The Pinterest Tag is different: Pinterest documents that its tag may read or create Pinterest-related cookies, including first-party cookies on an advertiser's site, depending on the visit context and Pinterest settings. Browser settings or content blockers can restrict those cookies and requests.

If we materially change the site's tracking, account, form, or storage practices, we will update this policy to describe the current practices.

Affiliate links

This site contains affiliate links to Amazon and other retailers. When you follow an affiliate link, the destination retailer may receive referral information needed to attribute the visit or purchase, and its own cookies, privacy policy, and terms apply.

We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. We do not receive the retailer's full customer record or payment-card details merely because you used one of our affiliate links.

Affiliate relationships do not change calculator formulas or source selection. Retailer availability and tracking methods can change over time.

External links

Pages may link to external websites for additional information, manufacturer specifications, product recommendations, or reference materials (such as manufacturer documentation, standards organization resources, or archery organization guidance).

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. Please review their policies if you choose to visit them. When we link to external resources, we do so because we believe they provide valuable information, not because we endorse their data collection practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site, legal requirements, or privacy best practices. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date at the top.

Significant changes (such as adding new tracking technologies, collecting new types of data, or changing how we use existing data) will be noted prominently on the site before those changes take effect. Minor updates (such as clarifying existing practices or adding examples) may be made without advance notice.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights regarding personal data processed by us or by third-party services. Contact us with a specific request and we will evaluate it under the applicable rules; requests concerning data controlled by Google, Pinterest, or a retailer may need to be directed to that service.

Children's privacy

The calculators do not require a child to create an account or submit calculator inputs to us. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through an on-site registration or profile system.

Third-party measurement technologies described in this policy may process technical visit data according to their own policies. Parents and guardians should also review the privacy and age requirements of any retailer or external site reached through a link from Archery Calculators.
